The most common war machine Hobgoblins construct is the potent balista, or spear chukka as they call it themselves, a giant, lever-operated bow that fires huge bolts capable of penetrating deep into ranked formations of troops, skewering masses of soldiers at once or even dispatching a large beast in a single deadly shot. Artillery is not well suited to the Hobgoblin style of warfare. However, every Khan finds himself in need of the devastating hit that such machines can deliver. Some of the larger tribes make use of large bolt throwers, hammered together from wood and metal, and mounting a specially modified spear or harpoon.

Instruction manuals are not included. By your request, we can assist you with the assembly. Components will be printed, washed, roughly cleaned from supports and cured before delivery. Further clean-up required, fillings with putty may be needed. Miniatures come unassembled and unpainted. We recommend using super glue. Please note that components may vary slightly from those shown.
Scale: 32 mm scale is shown in the pictures. Scale references on 25 mm bases. Please refer to our scale chart under “Services” page for size comparisons between armies.
